Italian Door knockers
16 x 20 inch poster print (no frame)
$45 + S&H
In October 2023 my husband and I and two friends celebrated our 30th anniversaries in Italy. We had a blast on our Northern Italy tour which took us to Rome, Florence, Pisa, Venice, Capris, Anacapris, Sorrento, Milan, and more.
Early in our trip, I decided to take photos of interesting doors and door knockers with the idea that they could someday become wall art.
Well, here we are one year later launching Celestial Art with my first poster project, “batteni di porte italiane” (Yes, that’s “Italian door knockers” in Italian.)
The images here invite you to feel the history, artistry, and imagination of the Italians through the centuries. You won’t tire of the textures, colors and intrigue found on this 16 x 20 poster. The bottom right image is of a dungeon prison door inside a palace in Venice!

Early in our trip, I decided to take photos of interesting doors and door knockers with the idea that they could someday become wall art.
The doors pictured here were chosen from 72 different door photos in all. They include the Vatican’s Jubilee Door (R1C1) opened once every 25 years, an ancient Roman Forum door near the Colosseum (R2C1), a door in Capris (R4C4), a door from the Basilica Santa Croce in Florence (R4C3), the Cathedrale Santa Maria del Fiore in Florence (R3C3), and a prison door from the Doge’s Palace in Venice (R3C4).
This poster is designed as a sister poster to the Italian door knockers. Note the color-pop of red and the titles are mirrored.

Chakra Series

Root Energy
8 x 10 print
$ 9.50 (includes S & H)
While taking a class on chakras, our instructor invited us to write a poem inspired by each chakra.
In “Root Energy” I capture what it is to feel grounded in nature and then to become a grounding force for others during these tumultuous times. At the time, hurricanes Helene and Milton were ravaging Florida and several other states.
I took the photo from my front yard during a sunrise over the Bay of Green Bay, Wisconsin, just days before writing the poem.

Sacral Energy
8 x 10 print
$ 9.50 (includes S & H)
While taking a class on chakras, our instructor invited us to write a poem inspired by each chakra.
In “Sacral Energy” I expose the many emotions related to creation and creating. As an adoptive mother, infertility “stopped up” life force energy. But through creative endeavors such as poetry writing, photography, music and theater, I have been not only created but creator.
Often poets include a turn or shift. In this poem, the shift arrives in the line “alive again.”
Used with permission, the photo was taken by a good friend, Mariam, while she was on pilgrimage in New Delhi, India.

Solar Plexus Energy
8 x 10 print
$ 9.50 (includes S & H)
While taking a class on chakras, our instructor invited us to write a poem inspired by each chakra.
In the first two stanzas of “Solar Plexus Energy” the power of action is a result of energy coming first through the root and sacral chakras.
The poem then differentiates that action can be transformative if it is rooted in the divine force coming through us, which is always and can only be true in the present moment: “Now / now / now”
I specifically chose to not include periods in the final stanza to give the sense that “now” simply continues into infinity.
The beautiful orange sunrise in the photo was take just days prior from our front yard looking over the Bay of Green Bay from Suamico, Wisconsin.

Heart Energy
8 x 10 print
$ 9.50 (includes S & H)
While taking a class on chakras, our instructor invited us to write a poem inspired by each chakra.
“Heart Energy” centers on the true nature of Love as vibration.
I read somewhere that the only problem humanity really has is our denial of the Divine in ourselves and others.
In the poem, the speaker implores us to not simply love one another, but to “Be Love”. I believe this is something that humanity will do when we “Burst above the denial of the Divine.”
The structure of the poem is a formula called a “skinny poem” in which certain words or phrases are repeated in particular lines. It creates a lovely sense of balance and movement.
The photo was taken at the Green Bay Botanical Garden one day when I was appreciating green blooms.

Throat Chakra
8 x 10 print
$ 9.50 (includes S & H)
While taking a class on chakras, our instructor invited us to write a poem inspired by each chakra.
In “Throat Chakra” the speaker finds their voice. While the speaker begins their journey in uncertainty with “words unspoken”, by the second stanza the five active verbs capture their courageous transformation. By the third stanza the shift for the speaker has occurred. Now their voice proclaims “a world healing.”
To me the healing of the world is a collective effort; therefore, I chose to include the shift from the singularity of the speaker to the “collective” spoken words and truths.
The symmetrical structure of the poem creates a sense of order and completion.
This original photo, taken in 2023 while on a snorkeling excursion in Cancun, captures the breathtaking turquoise of the sea.

Third Eye
8 x 10 print
$ 9.50 (includes S & H)
While taking a class on chakras, our instructor invited us to write a poem inspired by each chakra.
“Third Eye” asserts that intuition and even clairvoyance is available to humanity now. But the speaker asks three key questions about this shift.
This concrete poem takes the shape of an eye and sits atop a backdrop of a photo I took at a traveling Van Gogh immersion experience offered in Green Bay. The color palate as well as the onlookers in wonderment perfectly complement the poem.

Crown Energy
8 x 10 print
$ 9.50 (includes S & H)
While taking a class on chakras, our instructor invited us to write a poem inspired by each chakra.
As a gong player, I am in constant awareness of tones and frequencies and the healing power they possess.
In “Crown Energy” I reveal my truth; I do in fact hear a high tone, my own signature frequency. It’s a long story, but it concludes with a certainty that I am loved and known by the Creator.
The final stanza purposely hearkens back to the “Root Chakra’s” final declaration, “I am / I am / I am,” creating a satisfying sense of harmony and completion to the poem series.
The photo was taken in Venice, Italy, and features a refreshing Limoncello Spritz.

Ducks in a Row
10 x 20 inch canvas
$125 + S & H
These delightful images of three ducks in a row were taken while on a nature walk at Sensiba State Wildlife Area in Suamico, Wisconsin which winds through a 500-acre nature preserve of wetlands. My husband and I were tickled by the ducks’ perfect depiction of the phrase “Just when I thought I had my ducks in a row.”

2025 Scenic Green Bay calendar
8 x 11 wall calendar created using Shutterfly.
$50. Now $35 + S&H while supplies last.
I love to walk in the Green Bay area parks all year round. This is how I have acquired photos of so many parks throughout the years.
I thought it would be fun to create a calendar featuring a different park or area each month with photos taken in that month so that you could see the progression of the seasons as well as the beauty in the Green Bay area. And of course I had to sneak Lambeau and Titletown in there!
Photos were taken primarily in 2021 – 2024. Enjoy.
