Get Gonged, Give Back: Introducing “Tip It Forward”

“Tip it Forward.” The words came to me from a higher place. I get that a lot – exactly what I need just as I need it. I’d been thinking about how it is becoming harder and harder for people to afford things. How could they afford a luxury like getting a gong sound bath? “Tip it Forward.” Yes! That’s it!

I remembered a story on the news about a restaurant that would take donations from one customer to help other customers who didn’t have the funds for their meal. Maybe my clients would want to help others experience sound baths.

Don’t be surprised if you are at an event and I offer the option to donate to Tip it Forward to help individuals or clubs/groups who can’t afford to “get gonged” but know they would benefit from my services. So far $140 has been donated. While individuals in need can be offered my services at a deep discount or even for free now, two organizations have also benefited: Walk to End Alzheimer’s as well as the Lifelong Learning Institute, through UW-Green Bay as I have been able to more easily volunteer my time teaching about and sharing therapeutic sound.

And there’s good news for YOU too! Beginning in January, expect to see gong meditation prices drop significantly for several months. My hope is that more affordable sound baths means more people in the Green Bay area can discover the power of gongs for themselves.

What’s Go’ng On?

Bring joy to your life.

I’ll be heading back to Hong Kong Mid-November, so you’ll notice fewer events available in November. Don’t hesitate to try an individual session instead! But don’t miss our Balancing the Heart Chakra: Retreat Near Home coming soon – November 1st!

Opening a closed heart can change your entire life. Laughter, joy, wonder, gratitude and love are signs of an open heart. If you are reading this and realizing you haven’t been experiencing nearly enough laughter, joy, wonder, gratitude or love, check with your HEART. Is this retreat near home calling to you?

This five-hour retreat Balancing the Heart Chakra includes

  • Heart-balancing Intention and gong sound bath
  • Reiki energy work by Jennie Barnes
  • Gratitude practices
  • Loving-kindness meditation
  • Nature walk for heart opening and connecting
  • Class and Complementary copy of With a Grateful Heart by Brenda Brayko.

Beginning in November, I will be rolling out brand new, targeted sound bath offerings!

  • Lunar Resonant Renewal for new moons or full moons.
  • Gong Relaxation for Stressed Teachers. If you teach in any capacity and are stressed, this is for you.
  • Ascension Symptoms Support with Gongs for those feeling the planetary changes.
  • Sound Embrace offered to cancer survivors, their friends and family.
  • Half-price Gong Meditation for a more affordable option.

A Lifelong Journey of Self-Care: Tools, Teachings, and Resources

Self-care and expanding my own toolbox has been a passion of mine for decades. I began sharing my own learning with the world in 2021 when I wrote a blog series called “Me-Time: Self Care in the time of COVID” on my free blog Life Cheat Sheets. Then in 2023 I published a book called Me Time: Self-Care in a Challenging World. Presently I offer sound baths with gongs mostly in person but also free online on my YouTube Channel (@brendabrayko) where I also have a growing playlist of Self-care Tips posted weekly. Or you can see and hear short one-minute calming “Minute of Zen” videos taken around the world during my travels on my personal Instagram (@applebb09). And if you ask for it, I also have guided meditations in a series called Becoming My True Song; the text is digitally available for free or recorded for purchase.
